Welcome. This is an unofficial blog for Beaconsfield squash club.
Here you'll be able to access info about team matches, keep tabs on divisional positions,
and get updates on squash and racketball events and any forthcoming social activity.
It could also be the place to start (and end) rumours, and indulge in healthy banter.
There's bound to be the odd thing that offends; but that's alright isn't it, us being adults?
If you're truly miffed just email me and I'll remove the offending article.
You'll also be able to post a blog yourself; I am your host so, simply email me your piece/rant/match report/poetry/recipe for tripe to:
trev@lisacottage.demon.co.uk
I'll put it up 'in the cloud' and folk will then be able to comment or heckle...
So come on, email your pieces or add your comments below what is already posted there.

Junior Squash Championships

GIRL POWER RULES AT BEACONSFIELD JUNIOR SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS

The weekend of 21/22 April saw 24 junior members of the squash club competing in 7 different competitions.
Using monrad draws and round robins for all events, there were plenty of matches for all competitors over the 2 days.
The championships were generously sponsored by Bonds of London, suppliers of childrens sweets and treats including such goodies as Brain Licker, Lickedy Lips and Toxic Waste.
The main open championship was won by Natalie Machin, runner up being Bradley de Padey.
The open under 17 event was taken by Megan McNeil beating Harry Chapples in the final.
The 2 girls also battled it out in the girls championship event with Natalie being the winner.
Other results were:
Open under 15 winner Harry Chapples and runner-up Alex Dyson
Open under 13 winner William Smith and runner-up Will Rose
Open under 11 winner William Smith and runner-up Matthew Gallagher
There was also a beginners round robin between Katie Shaoul, Sophie Clifford-King and Anushka Patel - Katie was the overall winner.
Katie Shaoul also won the player of the year award which was awarded by the Saturday coach, Andy Longman for good all round effort and attitude during the season.
The attached photograph at the top of the feature shows all of the winners plus some of the other competitors who supported the event right through to the presentations.
