Welcome. This is an unofficial blog for Beaconsfield squash club.
Here you'll be able to access info about team matches, keep tabs on divisional positions,
and get updates on squash and racketball events and any forthcoming social activity.
It could also be the place to start (and end) rumours, and indulge in healthy banter.
There's bound to be the odd thing that offends; but that's alright isn't it, us being adults?
If you're truly miffed just email me and I'll remove the offending article.
You'll also be able to post a blog yourself; I am your host so, simply email me your piece/rant/match report/poetry/recipe for tripe to:
trev@lisacottage.demon.co.uk
I'll put it up 'in the cloud' and folk will then be able to comment or heckle...
So come on, email your pieces or add your comments below what is already posted there.

Over 45 County Weekend

This just in from Dirty Dan:

Over 45 County Weekend

Beaconsfield club members were in action over the weekend as Bucks successfully retained their Premier league status.

Mark Treadwell, CK Foo and Dan F (yes l know he doesn't look a day over 40) played at nos 3, 4, 5.

We pulled off 2x victories beating Yorkshire 5-0, Essex 3-2 and narrowly lost 2-3 to hosts Cheshire, so finishing 2nd overall and avoiding relegation from the top flight.

Highlights included:
- Mark Treadwell losing to a chap who looked old enough to be his father but was actually younger than him
- CK winning 3-0 despite pulling his hamstring in 2nd
- DF winning all 3 with only 1x match going to 5
- Buying a round of 6x drinks for less than a tenner
- Sitting in Altringham Costa Coffee and enjoying the local 'scenery'

Oh happy days....
